What was the highlight of Hotel Tenpyo Naramachi
Great hotel and facilities, but the sound made the stay NOT worth it.
The location is amazing, walking distance from Nara train station, as well as a stone's throw away from a lively street filled with shopping, street food, and restaurants. Also a short walk away from the heart of Nara Park and the deer! Decent public bath in the basement as well.
I had a terrible time sleeping here. First of all, I'm not sure if this is because our room was in a corner, but the walls were paper thin. We would hear people outside all night! We initially thought a window or something was open because that's how clear the sound was. We could also hear the people in the room below us, clearly enough to hear the words they were saying if we listened. Lastly, there is a clock tower across the street...it goes off LOUDLY at midnight and 6 am..woke me both times.

「眺めは最高！」
ベランダから猿沢池を見渡す眺望は特別な気分になった。 併設ギャラリーが面白かった。
地下の浴場のお湯がぬるかったので温まれなかった。 部屋以外の共有部分で水臭い？感じの臭いがした。
